insanely powerful HOTROD i was expecting a perfected ui (my bad ig) pros over 3v8a 6v5a drivers. 1; single click to go back to previous brightness from turbo instead of double clicking. 2; 2H is intuitive for 20amp mode, normal ramp is 10amp max which means you can certainly use sft-42r with this driver for PEAK throw over sft40/25r in m21h etc 4; the moonlight is very good 5; the low mode is too bright (maybe depends on LED but lhp73b is so bright that you can use it for hiking on the first LOW level which also probably results in infinite runtimes) CONS 1; can't ramp up from moonlight to higher levels why.. 2; the battery indicator switch light doesn't stay on like in s21f why? idk, the only way to do batcheck is 5 clicks... 3; there is a 1 second delay to ramp brightness this unlike 3v8a driver which is basically instant, why? idk ask the driver guy..... BUGS i used tactical tail switch with dual spring and wirebypass, i found that the MOONLIGHT mode can be memorized with tail switch, if you turn it off/on using tail switch, but not with the side switch. the 20amp mode doesn't work if you turn the light say on 10amp mode and then 2H for 20amp mode, it will not go into 20amp mode, you'd have to turn the light off using side switch and turn it on using side switch to have access to 20amp mode, if you use tail switch for on/off then there is NO 20amp mode.
