my browser glitched, sorry simon please delete my previous extra 3 reviews, also add option to delete/edit reviews? this is what the tir lens looked like after the emitters starting to smoke, i smelt solder and all emitters were off their pads and the mcpcb had damaged traces/pads that were almost torn off completely but not fully thankfully i was able to reflow the emitters back inplace. this happened after few months of daily using the light, my guess is that there is alot of dust that gathered overtime and maybe infiltrated the bezel threads or something else that accelerated this issue. maybe it's my fault for ignoring the switch problem and keep using the light and not asking for refund? who knows, now im using 60 degree tir since this 30 degree is cooked quite literally.

the s21f has grown on me ALOT i always use redlight filter it's my bedside and night stand light and with 60 degree tir lens it's great for general tasks, god help me though to understand the problem with this light though, the only conclusion i've come across is that the bezel causes an electric short of some kindjQuery18305287114674355452_1768861061498 the original mcpcb got hot and emitters started smoking, i had to reflow the emitters, the mcpcb has 1 pad almost 80% torn off, thankfully it wasn't complete torn off, there are NO screws to hold the mcpcb inplace, this may be a culprit, the design of this light is strange, i'm really not sure what to do, i've followed every post on internet and most people do seem to point towards the bezel causing the short, i find that when i tighten the bezel down fully to make the light water resistant all 4 emitters come on and clicking the button does NOTHING, the light stays on all the time. why is this being caused? only the designer knows, could it really be the bezel touching the wires or mcpcb and causing a short? is this why the light got very hot and almosst destroyed the leds, thankfully i managed to reflow them on my first try ever without completely bburning the leds, they seem fine now. but whenever i tighten thje bezel all the problems come back.

Awesome light, a real underdog in the Convoy lineup, but a great surprise. Kind of a dual-channel Anduril-at-home, but much more reasonably priced. Grabbed the 219 version, and I highly recommend it. Have it paired with the 30 degree beaded lens, and it's a very comfortable around the house light. The 1800K and 5700K emitters are excellent on their own, but tint mixed, they take on a whole new life. Unbelievably rosy, like encroaching on rosy FFL351A/NTG35 territory. It's awesome! UI is a little clunky; don't love that you can't go to and from ultralow from the ramp mode, but it's plenty usable otherwise. I like that the button emitter stays lit while the light is in use to indicate battery level, nice touch.

This is a FANTASTIC floody light, it's bright enough, it's very compact almost like 18650 light, the T4/T3 clip works very well on it, tint ramping is very nice not too slow or too fast and being able to change color temp is awesome i usually leave it at lowest because i like warm tint, all in all i like the like itself, but not the problems it comes with. On day one i noticed one of the 5700k 519a emitter has a mark and it's bluer and dimmer than the other, but also the soldering was looking botched, i ignored all the issues, I've had this light for 6 days now, and it's starting to misclick and not respond to my clicks sometimes it doesn't want to turn off or turn on, other times it wants to go straight into TURBO or STROBE when i click once to turn the light on from off position..... Simon is sending me another driver but i'm shocked.
