TL;DR good little sub-100m thrower, B35AM 5K has excellent colour rendering and decent lumen output, runs cool with low power draw. Preface: I use my lights (mostly) for ecology work, so high CRI is a priority over raw light output. Downsides are a bright moonlight mode and logarithmic brightness increase (it increases in apparent brightness rapidly off 0%, then appears to increase slower above 10%), but those are only minor faults that don't detract from the rest of the package. I got this for somebody else since it's beginner friendly (USB-C charging, mode selection is simple) but ended up liking it so much that I kept it. This is optioned with a B35AM, not the most powerful of LEDs, but it throws decently for its size. Its real trick, however, is the colour rendering: I've used many other lights over the last few years, and the B35AM in 5000K has one of the cleanest colour spectrums I've seen in a light. Deep reds render nicely, and all other colours seem rather neutral and clear - it's my go-to light for night ecology work. See the 3rd pic for a comparison with my other warmer light; it's got a nice tint, but the colours are less accurate - in spite of being another high CRI emitter. It has a balanced hotspot that works well to provide usable light out to 100m (it throws further, but not usefully so for me), making it very handy to light up subjects in a tree, down pathways, etc. Spill from the hotspot is handy up close. Thermal management is pretty good with the boost-driven B35AM; it'll hold turbo for quite a while before getting too hot to use on warm Australian nights (I've gone minutes easily on colder nights), and maintains an excellent run time with its modest current draw. Even an older Samsung 40T provides a good runtime with it, the lower power draw means you can get away with a good energy cell (BAK 65E, SA112, etc), although I opted for a tabless power cell (RS50 in my case) as I share cells with other lights.
