Outstanding flashlight. The first one I received had an issue with the button falling out, Simon sent me a replacement and it works perfectly! I bought this with all the TIRs aswell as the two crenulated bezels and tactical switch, this light has tons of customization options! This is one of my favorite flashlights to carry with me, I use the clip that came with my H4 to carry it in my pocket. The build quality is solid, it feels more expensive than it really is. My only problems with this light are that the driver uses a brass post for the battery terminal, which has dented one of my batteries and forced me to recycle it (although Simon sent me a replacement), the charging makes the light very warm which makes me think it's not very efficient and is burning off a lot of electricity in the proccess, and that it doesn't have many emitter options. I would love to see this with the new LMP LHP73B emitter, I think it would be a great option. As it stands, I use this with the XHP 50.3 4000K R70, with the 3º lense, and it is a great floody throwy light that leans more towards throwy. By default it cimes with the 12º lense which is a good balance between floody and throwy, and has less beam artifacts than the 3º. I would recomend this light to anyone looking for a good super bright flashlight for outdoor use, and am happy with my purchase.

I own 3 of the MAO M21H. The surface is super grippy. I purchased the light with the XHP70.3 HI R70 LED config, and at 100% I can light up the entire 4 story building one half block from my house! This is a seriously bright light! It works fine around the house at 10% - About the same as an LED MagLite. There is MAO on the threads, which is a little gritty, so I load the threads with heavy silicone grease to smooth things out. Note that some VERY long batteries with protection circuits will not fit. The light itself has excellent built-in protection, so I recommend buying high-cap unprotected batteries for longest runtime. I don't think that it makes sense to want a small light like this in a "beast" config, because it will just heat up and throttle down in a few seconds.

MAO has a concrete like surface which collects dust etc easier unlike the smooth anodization surface, it is also ALOT more grippier and nicer feeling but that results in less durability easier to scratch, i ordered the XHP70.3 R9050 5700k (perfect tint) and 3 degree tir, the flashlight is perfect for walking around and upto 150m, but beyond that it is not suitable, so i was very dissapointed as i like throwers such as if22a, l21a/l21b. i suggest you take it in sft40 it should be a beast in sft40. i was very disappointed by the floody beam this light has which is underwhelming, i also found the charging port to not be centered which is also strange, and i also found the ui to be very Good except that i have to double click to disengage turbo instead of a single click. i'm gonna try to modify this with sft40.
