    Capacity + current

    Balanced everyday output

The G68 combines a 6.8A standard discharge current with a maximum continuous discharge current of 12.5A at cell temperatures from 0°C to below 35°C. Current limits must be reduced outside that temperature range.

Its specified AC internal resistance is ≤24mΩ at 1kHz, supporting efficient delivery when the cell is used within all stated limits.

    Discharge performance

The supplied test chart shows delivered capacity at four constant-current loads, using a 4.203V starting voltage and a 2.500V cut-off on an EBC-A40L tester.

Test result highlight: 6602mAh was recorded at 12.5A, while 6970mAh was recorded at 2A. These are test results, not replacement ratings for the 6800mAh nominal specification.

    Correct charging

    4.20V CC/CV charging

    • Standard charge current: 3.4A (0.5C).
    • Charge by constant current, then hold 4.20V constant voltage.
    • Charge termination current: 136mA (0.02C).
    • Use only a compatible charger designed for 4.2V lithium-ion cells.

    Temperature-dependent current limits

Cell temperature changes the permitted current. Always follow the current limit that matches the actual cell temperature.

    Maximum charge current

    0°C ≤ T < 5°C 0.68A
    5°C ≤ T < 15°C 3.4A
    15°C ≤ T < 45°C 4.76A

    Maximum discharge current

    −20°C ≤ T < 0°C 6.8A
    0°C ≤ T < 35°C 12.5A
    35°C ≤ T < 45°C 6.8A

    Frequently asked questions

Quick answers for buyers comparing capacity, output and compatibility.

    Is 6970mAh the rated capacity?

No. The nominal rating is 6800mAh and the minimum rating is 6600mAh. The 6970mAh figure is a measured result from the supplied 2A discharge test.

Can the cell discharge at 12.5A continuously?

Only within the specified temperature range. The 12.5A limit applies from 0°C to below 35°C; lower current limits apply when the cell is colder or hotter.

    What charger should I use?

Use a charger made for 4.2V lithium-ion cells. The specified charge method is CC/CV, with a 4.20V limit and 136mA termination current.

Will it fit every device that uses 21700 cells?

Not necessarily. Verify physical fit, terminal style, polarity, current requirement and device protection before purchase or installation.

Important safety notice: Never carry or store loose cells with metal objects. Do not short-circuit, reverse, overcharge, over-discharge, puncture, crush, disassemble, incinerate or expose the cell to water. Do not use a cell with a damaged wrap or insulator ring. If you are not familiar with bare lithium-ion cells, use only manufacturer-approved battery packs.

Specification note: Product performance varies with load, temperature, cell age, device efficiency and test method. Confirm the latest manufacturer documentation before publishing or selling.
